The humidifier does not operate

The remote control does not operate

Obstacle between the remote control and the sensor on the unit

Remove the obstacle for proper operation of the remote control

Large distance between the remote control and the unit

Use the remote control in the operating zone

Battery is discharged

Replace the battery

Non-observance of rules for cleaning the unit parts from mineral deposits caused by hard water may affect the overall performance of the unit In this case clean the unit and use filtered or distilled water in the future.
