6. Disposal

 REMSCentoandREMSDueCentomaynotbethrowninthedomesticwaste

whennolongerused.Themachinesmustbedisposedofproperlybylaw.

7. Manufacturer’s Warranty

 Thewarrantyperiodshallbe12monthsfromdeliveryofthenewproducttothe

rstuser.Thedateofdeliveryshallbedocumentedbythesubmissionofthe

originalpurchasedocuments,whichmustincludethedateofpurchaseandthe

designationoftheproduct.Allfunctionaldefectsoccurringwithinthewarranty

period,whichareclearlytheconsequenceofdefectsinproductionormaterials,

willberemediedfreeofcharge.Theremedyofdefectsshallnotextendor

renewthewarrantyperiodfortheproduct.Damageattributabletonaturalwear

andtear,incorrecttreatmentormisuse,failuretoobservetheoperational

instructions,unsuitableoperatingmaterials,excessivedemand,useforunau-

thorizedpurposes,interventionsbythecustomerorathirdpartyorother

reasons,forwhichREMSisnotresponsible,shallbeexcludedfromthewarranty

 Servicesunderthewarrantymayonlybeprovidedbycustomerservicestations

authorizedforthispurposebyREMS.Complaintswillonlybeacceptedifthe

productisreturnedtoacustomerservicestationauthorizedbyREMSwithout

prior interference in an unassembled condition. Replaced products and parts

shallbecomethepropertyofREMS.

The user shall be responsible for the cost of shipping and returning the product.

 Thelegalrightsoftheuser,inparticulartherighttomakeclaimsagainstthe

sellerunderthewarrantyterms,shallnotbeaffected.Thismanufacturer's

warrantyonlyappliesfornewproductswhicharepurchasedintheEuropean

Union,inNorwayorinSwitzerland.

 ThiswarrantyissubjecttoGermanlawwiththeexclusionoftheUnitedNations

ConventiononContractsfortheInternationalSalesofGoods(CISG).

5. Behaviour in the event of faults

5.1. Fault:Pipecuttingmachinestopsduringoperation.

Cause: Remedy:

●

Feeding pressure too high.

●

Reduce feeding pressure.

●

Blunt/broken cutting wheel.

●

Change cutting wheel.

●

Worn carbon brushes.

●

 Havethecarbonbrusheschangedbyqualiedpersonneloranauthorised

REMScustomerserviceworkshop.

5.2. Fault:Pipestopsduringcutting.

Cause: Remedy:

●

 Pipenotround.

●

Reduce feeding pressure.

●

 Pipenotdeburredontheoutside.

●

Deburr pipe on the outside.

●

Rollers (3) soiled.

●

 CleanrollerswithmachinecleanerREMSCleanM(Art.No.140119),then

protect against rust.

5.3. Fault:Pipeisnotcut.

Cause: Remedy:

●

Unsuitable cutting wheel.

●

Select and change cutting wheel according to the pipe to be cut.

●

 Pipenotround.

●

Reduce feeding pressure.

●

 Pipenotdeburredontheoutside.

●

Deburr pipe on the outside.

●

Cutting wheel damaged.

●

Change cutting wheel.

5.4. Fault:Pipenotcutcompletely,stops.

Cause: Remedy:

●

Unsuitable cutting wheel.

●

Select and change cutting wheel according to the pipe to be cut.

●

 Pipenotrunninground.

●

 Stoppipecuttingmachine.Breakoffthepipesectioncompletelybyhand,e.g.

withascrewdriver.

●

Feeding pressure too high.

●

Reduce feeding pressure.

5.5. Fault:Pipecuttingmachinedoesnotstart.

Cause: Remedy:

●

 Mainsleaddefective.

●

 HavethemainsleadchangedbyqualiedpersonneloranauthorisedREMS

customerserviceworkshop.

●

 Pipecuttingmachinedefective.

●

 Havethepipecuttingmachineinspected/repairedbyanauthorisedREMS

customerserviceworkshop.

●

Worn carbon brushes.

●

 Havethecarbonbrusheschangedbyqualiedpersonneloranauthorised

REMScustomerserviceworkshop.

●

Feeding pressure too high.

●

Reduce feeding pressure.

5.6. Fault:Cuttingofthepipesleavesmarksontheoutsideofthepipes.

Cause: Remedy:

●

Rollers (3) of the pipe cutting machine and/or the roller insert (14) soiled.

●

 CleanrollerswithmachinecleanerREMSCleanM(Art.No.140119),then

protect against rust.

●

Rollers (3) of the pipe cutting machine and/or the roller insert (14) damaged.

●

Change rollers.
