Noise or sound distorted on AM (MW)
or FM or FM ST broadcasts.
AM or FM or FM ST no sound.
Station not tuned properly for AM (MW)
or FM or FM ST.
FM : Antenna is not extended.
AM (MW) : Unit is not positioned correctly.
The function selector is not set to the RADIO position.
Volume at minimum.
Retune the AM or FM broadcast station.
Extend FM line antenna.
Rotate unit until best reception is obtained.
Set the function selector to RADIO.
Increase Volume.
No sound.
Sound distorted.
Speed varies.
Function selector not set to TAPE.

Tape old or worn.
