We congratulate you on having bought the device under trade name “Saturn” We are sure that our devices will become safe and reliable assistance in your housekeeping.

Avoid extreme temperature changes

Rapid temperature change (e.g when the unit is moved from freezing temperature to a warm room) may cause condensation inside the unit and a malfunction when it is switched on In this case leave the unit at room temperature for at least 1.5 hours before switching it on.

If the unit has been in transit leave it indoors for at least 1.5 hours before starting operation.

Before using the appliance the user should read the following instructions carefully

Connection to the mains supply The appliance should only be connected to an earthed socket installed in accordance with the regulations Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label.

Before the appliance is used the main unit as well as any attachment fitted should be checked thoroughly for any defects Should the appliance for instance have been dropped onto a hard surface it must not be used any longer: even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the operational safety of the appliance

This appliance is not intended for use by any person (including children) with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities or lacking experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance

Do not leave the water kettle unattended during operation Use only pure water when filling the container to the desired level observing the Min and Max. markings

Overfilling the container may cause danger from boiling water being forced out Also beware of the danger of scalding from hot steam being emitted

Therefore do not touch any parts of the appliance except the handle during use

The housing becomes hot during use

Caution!

During the boiling process and when pouring out hot water the lid must be kept closed at all times

The kettle may only be operated with the base provided with the appliance

The appliance must be used only on a heat-resistant level surface

Do not allow the appliance or its power cord to come into contact with open flames or any hot surfaces such as hotplates

Do not let the power cord hang free and keep the cord well away from hot parts of the housing

Always remove the plug from the wall socket in case of any malfunction
