4. Functions 5. Indication and display
• Turning off the bands
You can choose the Alarm On/Off for Bands X/K/Ka. Please see the
“How to Turn On/Off Bands” described next.
• Volume Up/Down
Volume can be set from level 0 to 8 for your convenience.
• Changing the sensitivity
You can choose 3 modes of sensitivity:
- High sensitivity (Highway)
- Medium sensitivity (City1)
- Low sensitivity (City2)
Setting your detector to City mode delays all bands beep alerts at
lower signal strength levels.
This will reduce false alerts while you are driving in, or near, urban
areas where there are many sources for conflicting all bands signals
such as microwave towers and automatic door openers.
Highway Mode sets your radar detector to full sensitivity for
maximum range of detection.
While this can increase the number of false alerts in the city
Choosing the right mode for a given situation can be very important.
1) Power on.
“П” LED turns on.
2) X Band Detection
“X” LED turns on with blinking and beep.
3) K Band Detection
“K” LED turns on with blinking and beep.
4) Ka Band Detection
“Ka” LED turns on with blinking and beep.
5) Laser Detection
“Л”LED turns on with blinking and beep.
6) STRELKA Detection
«CT» LED turns on with blinking and beep.
While coming closer to radar, the signal
strength will increase. According to the
testing results, distance of detecting the
radar “Strelka-ST” is up to 1 km during the
normal conditions.
