BLADE SHARPENING
The Juice Xe6 and Kf4 feature both straight and serrated knife
blades. It is important to note these two edges should not be
sharpened in the same manner. Sharpen the straight edge
using standard sharpening techniques.
The serrated surface will retain its cutting ability much
longer than the straight cutting surface. When you wish to
sharpen the serrated blade, be sure to use a sharpening
system designed to accommodate serrations. A proper
sharpening method will maintain the curvature of the
serrations. Sharpening the flat (back) side of the serrations
will cause them to wear away and reduce the effectiveness
of the knife blade.
MAINTENANCE
The blades on your Juice multi-tool are 100% high-grade
stainless steel. No steel is truly “stainless.” It is actually
“corrosion-resisting steel,” and corrosion can occur if not
properly maintained.
Your tool should be cleaned, dried and re-oiled
periodically, especially after use in a damp environment.
After cleaning, re-oil pivoting areas with a light machine or
penetrating type oil.
WARRANTY
If within 25 years from the date of purchase you find any
defect in material or workmanship with your Leatherman
multi-tool, return it to Leatherman Tool Group, Inc. or an
international authorized repair center. For repair centers in
your area contact the address shown below.
The warranty does not cover abuse, alteration,
unauthorized, or unreasonable use of your Leatherman
multi-tool. This warranty does not cover sheaths,
accessories or colored finishes.
To obtain service, return your tool to the address
shown below or contact us for the location of the closest
authorized repair center. At our option, we may replace
your multi-tool rather than repair it; and if discontinued,
replace it with a product of equal or greater value.
Leatherman Tool Group, Inc. is not liable for incidental
or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow
the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty also gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights that may vary from
jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

VERWENDUNG VON KORKENZIEHER UND HEBEL
(NUR Xe6, Cs4 UND Kf4)
Zum leichteren Korkenziehen befindet sich am Ende des
Dosen-/Flaschenöffners ein gekerbter Hebel. Ziehen Sie
den Hebel vollständig heraus. Drehen Sie den Korkenzieher
in den Korken und stellen Sie den Hebel mit der Kerbe auf
den Flaschenhals. Der Korkenzieher muss möglicherweise
ein Stück weiter hinein- oder herausgedreht werden, um
den Hebel optimal zu platzieren. (Abbildung G)
Heben Sie die Griffe an und drücken Sie dabei den Hebel
mit dem Zeigefinger der anderen Hand fest an die Flasche.
SCHÄRFEN DER KLINGEN
Das Juice Xe6 und Kf4 verfügt über glatte und gezahnte
Messer. Diese beiden Klingentypen müssen auf unterschiedliche
Weise geschliffen werden. Gehen Sie zum Schärfen der glatten
Messer wie gewohnt vor.
Gezahnte Messer schneiden länger gut als glatte
Messer. Wenn Sie ein gezahntes Messer schärfen möchten,
verwenden Sie auf jeden Fall ein Schleifsystem, das für
die Zahnung geeignet ist. Bei falschem Vorgehen kann die
Zahnung der Messerschneide verändert werden. Wenn Sie
nur die flache Rückseite der Zahnung schärfen, wird diese
mit der Zeit abgetragen, wodurch die Schneidfähigkeit des
Messers beeinträchtigt wird.
PFLEGE
Die Klingen des Juice bestehen aus 100% hochwertigem
Edelstahl. Allerdings ist auch Edelstahl nicht vollkommen
“
korrosionsfrei.
”
Eigentlich ist das Material „korrosionsträge“
und kann bei unzureichender Pflege rosten.
Das Werkzeug ist regelmäßig zu reinigen, zu trocknen
und nachzuölen, ganz besonders dann, wenn es Feuchtigkeit
ausgesetzt war. Nach der Reinigung ist auf die Scharniere
ein leichtes Maschinenöl oder ein rostlösendes Öl
aufzutragen.
GARANTIE
Sollten Sie innerhalb von 25 Jahren ab Kaufdatum
am Leatherman-Multi-Tool einen Material- oder
Herstellungsfehler feststellen, senden Sie es an die
Leatherman Tool Group, Inc. oder geben Sie es an eine
Vertragswerkstatt. Adressen von Vertragswerkstätten in Ihrer
Nähe erhalten Sie unter der unten angegebenen Anschrift.
Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf unsachgemäße
Behandlung und Modifikation sowie unsachgemäße
oder unvernünftige Verwendung des Leatherman-Multi-
Tools. Diese Garantie gilt nicht für Etuis, Zubehör und
Farbbeschichtungen.
Zur Inanspruchnahme der Garantie senden Sie das
Werkzeug an die unten angegebene Adresse oder fragen
Sie uns nach der nächstgelegenen Vertragswerkstatt. Es
liegt in unserem Ermessen, das Multi-Tool an Stelle einer
Reparatur zu ersetzen. Sollte das entsprechende Modell nicht
mehr verfügbar sein, ersetzen wir es durch ein mindestens
gleichwertiges Produkt.
Die Leatherman Tool Group, Inc. haftet nicht für
Folgeschäden aus dem Gebrauch des Werkzeugs. Der
Haftungsausschluss für Folgeschäden entfällt, wenn er nach

plana (posterior) de la sierra causará que los dientes se

MANTENIMIENTO
Las hojas en su Juice son 100% acero inoxidable de alto
grado. Ningún acero es verdaderamente “inoxidable”.
En realidad se trata de “acero resistente a la corrosión”
y la corrosión puede ocurrir si la navaja no recibe el
mantenimiento apropiado.
Su herramienta debe limpiarse, secarse y aceitarse
periódicamente, especialmente si se usó en un
ambiente húmedo. Después de limpiarse, aceite todas
las áreas giratorias con aceite liviano para máquinas o
aceite de tipo penetrante.
GARANTÍA
Si dentro de un período de 25 años a partir de la fecha

AFFÛTAGE DES LAMES
Le Juice Xe6 et Kf4 possède des lames de couteau droit
et de couteau-scie. Il est important de noter que ces deux
couteaux ne doivent pas être affûtés de la même manière.
Affûtez le couteau droit à l’aide des techniques d’affûtage
standard.
La surface en scie retiendra sa capacité de coupe
beaucoup plus longtemps que la surface de coupe droite.
Pour affûter la lame en scie, veillez à utiliser un système
d’affûtage conçu spécialement pour les dentelures. Une
méthode d’affûtage adéquate conservera la courbure
des dentelures. Affûter le côté plat (dos) des dentelures
provoquera leur usure et réduira l’efficacité de la lame du
couteau.
ENTRETIEN
Les lames du Juice sont fabriquées à 100 % en acier
inoxydable de haute qualité. Aucun acier n’est réellement
« inoxydable ». Il s’agit en fait d’un « acier résistant à la
corrosion »
et l’outil peut être rongé par la corrosion s’il n’est
pas bien entretenu.
Nettoyez, séchez et huilez régulièrement votre Juice,
surtout après l’avoir utilisé dans un environnement
humide. Après l’avoir nettoyé, huilez à nouveau les zones
pivotantes avec une huile mouvement légère ou une huile
pénétrante.
GARANTIE
Si, dans les 25 ans à compter de la date d’achat, vous
trouvez un défaut dans la matière ou la fabrication de votre
multi-tool Leatherman, renvoyez-le à Leatherman Tool
Group, Inc. ou à un centre de réparation international agréé.
