OPERATION ON AC POWER

Remove power cord from inside cabinet storage comprat_

ment and plug into conveniet outlet.

OPERATION ON DC POWER

Open the battery cover, insert 3 pcs UM 1 batteries into hold_

er. Observe battery polarity markings.

PHONE JACK

Your radio is equipped with a PHONE JACK for private listen_

ing. Simply plug the phone into the jack provided. With the

phone connected, the speaker in the radio will automaticaly

disconnect.

CAUTION: LISTENING AT HIGH POWER FOR A LONG

MOMENT COULD DAMAGE USERS` EARS.

HOW TO OPERATE RADIO

1. Instal the batteries and select the power source per above.

2. Turn the ON/OFF & VOLUME CONTROL to ON position,

the LED power indicator will on.

3. Set the BAND SWITCH to desired waveband.

4. Tuning: to select the desired station, rotate the TUNING

KNOB. All AM Radios have “DUIRECTIONAL” characteristics.

It may be desirable to turn the radio until the best reseption is

obtained. This is particularly noticeable on weak or long dis_

tant stations.

5. Readjust the VOLUME CONTROL to the desired listening

level.

6. For FM reseption adjust the TELESCOPIC ANTENNA

appopriately to obtain the best reception on the band select_

ed.

For AM reseption rotate the unit to obtain the best reseption.
