SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR YOUR IRON

- Check the mains voltage stated on the iron.

- Unwind and straighten the power cord before use.

- Switch on the iron by turning the temperature dial in clockwise direc tion; pilot light glows.

• Turn the temperature dial to the middle point of 1 dot 2 dot 3 dot position.

• Switch off the iron by turning the temperature dial in anti clockwise direction when it is not in use even for a short period of time Turn the temperature dial to “Min” position.

• Disconnect the iron from mains supply outlet when filling water.

- Remove the water remained in the water tank.

- Use the self cleaning function at least once a month.

- Clean the steam valve regularly.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

- Read carefully save all the instructions provided with an appliance.

- Do not allow children touch the iron or the power cord when ironing.

- Do not use an extension power cord set unless competent authority has approved it.

• Do not leave the iron unattended when it is connected to a mains sup ply outlet.

• Do not add perfumed vinegar or other chemical liquids into the water tank they can damage the iron seriously.

• Do not use the iron when it is damaged or it works improperly.

- Do not roll the power cord around the iron for storage until it has cooled down completely.

• Do not attempt to open the cabinets or dismantle any parts from the iron; there is no serviceable parts inside.

• Do not attempt to replace the power cord or any other parts by your self; bring the iron to a service company or to the shop where you bought it Special tools are required for repair.

• Do not immerse in water.
