AC operation

• Before the first connecting of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds the mains voltage in your home.

• Insert the plug into power supply Caution:

- When the set is only used with AC or is not used for 2 weeks or more please remove the batteries to avoid damage to the set from leakage of batteries.

• Always switch off the unit when not in use.

• Always unplug the appliance from power supply when not in use long time.

RADIO OPERAtIOn

• Set CD/MP3/AM/FM/OFF/USB/CARD switch to the desired band (AM or FM).

• Rotate TUNING regulator to tune-in the desired station.

• Adjust the telescopic antenna (for FM) and position of the set (for AM) to obtain the best reception.

• Rotate VOLUME regulator to adjust the volume the desired level.

• To turn off the radio slide CD/MP3/AM/

FM/OFF/USB/CARD switch to “OFF”.

HEADPHOnE COnnECtIOn

• For private listening insert 3.5-mm headphone into the stereo headphone jack (on the back side of the unit).

• Adjust volume to the appropriate level by turning VOLUME regulator.

• When the stereo headphone jack is plugged speakers will disconnect automatically.

CD/MP3/USB/SD OPERAtIOn

Insertion and removal of discs

• When opening the CD-door always ensure the disc is not in motion (not spinning). Always press STOP/CARD button to stop the disc spinning first.

• Place a CD into the compartment with the label-side (printed side of disc) facing upwards Press down in the center part of disc until the disc locks onto the center spindle.

• When the CD has been placed onto the center spindle gently lower the CD-door downwards until it locks shut.

• The CD is now ready to be played.

- To remove a disc follow the same procedure as described above except to remove the CD instead of inserting it into the compartment by placing one finger at the middle of disc (center spindle) and the other at the edge of the disc and gently pulling upwards.

Always hold a CD by its edges Avoid getting any finger prints smudges or dirt onto the surface of a disc In case this happens use a special CD-cleaning cloth or cleaning kit to remove the dirt or smudges Please make sure to always fold down the handle before opening the CD door.

general operation

• Insert a CD as described.

- Slide CD/MP3/AM/FM/OFF/USB/CARD switch to “CD/MP3/USB/CARD” position.

• The CD will spin momentarily and then the display will show the total number of t racks (songs) of the disc.

• At anytime during playback press USB/

PLAY/PAUSE button to pause operation of the unit Press this button to resume operation at the same track and position.

• At anytime during playback press STOP/

CARD button to stop operation of the set This will reset the CD-player to the first track (if you press USB/PLAY/PAUSE after STOP/
CARD the first track will always start playing).

• At anytime during playback press BACK and NEXT buttons to ski p backwards or forwards by one track.

• At anytime during playback press and hold BACK and NEXT buttons to fast-reverse or fast-forward the currently playing track.

MP3 disc playback

• Insert an MP3 disc close the CD door.
