Recipe b packaged milk without bacteria + lactobacillus or pure yoghurt

Recipe c milk made from milk powder+ lactobacillus or pure yoghurt

Recipe d: soybean milk (boiled) + lactobacillus or pure yoghurt

Tips: 1 the lactobacillus is the best choice pure yoghurt is second.

2 If use the milk made from milk powder it must be filtered if use the soybean milk it is important that the soybean milk and fresh milk must be boiled And they must be cooled to equal or less than 40℃ either the milk made from milk powder or the soybean milk 3 Before using it must be checked quality guarantee period for all ingredients

USAGE 1 To make yoghurt according to the

“recipe a” of the above section Measure 1200ml (7 glass bottles) of market milk or fresh pasteurized milk (it can be either full cream skimmed or low-fat milk).

2 Add 200ml (1 bottle) pure yoghurt into the milk (if using lactobacillus the proportion of lactobacillus and fresh milk is 1:500) mixing completely to obtain the mixture of fresh milk and pure yoghurt (or lactobacillus).

3 Divide the mixture into 7 glass bottles Fit the bottle covers onto the glass bottles Place the glass bottles into the yoghurt maker and place the cover onto the base of yoghurt maker.

TO OPERATE YOGHURT MAKER 1 Plug the yoghurt maker into the wall socket The LCD will display “-: ” and a short beep will be heard.

2 You may press the ON/OFF button directly to start the appliance the LCD will display “8:00” (the default operation time) for one time and show “7:59” immediately namely the LCD will display the remaining operation time (7 hours and 59 minutes) The appliance will start operating the colon will flash and remaining operation time on the

LCD will count down Yoghurt maker will automatically switch off with a long warning sound at the end of the preparation process The appliance will return the standby state and the LCD will display “-: ” again.

3 You also can press TIME button to set desired operation time press the TIME button once the LCD will display

“0:00” and the “00” will flash to prompt you set the minutes by pressing the “+” or “ ” button the adjustable range is 00-59 4.After setting the minutes press the

TIME button again the “0” will flash to prompt you set the hours by pressing the “+” or “ ” button the adjustable range is 0-8 5 After setting the operation time press the ON/OFF button once to start the appliance the colon on the LCD will flash and the remaining operation time on the LCD will count down 6 Once the remaining operation time counts down to the “-: ” and beeps will be heard the operation is finished Unplug the power outlet and open the cover to remove the glass bottles to the refrigerator for cooling

TO SERVE

Once the yoghurt cooled down it can be served with natural flavor or added the honey sugar to sweeten the yoghurt or added the fruits toppings Everyone can add their favorite flavor to suit their individual taste.

MEMORY

If the power supply has been broken off or unplug the power cord unintentionally during operation the appliance will be continued previous operation automatically from the time when the disconnection occurred provided that the pause does not exceed 10minutes even without pressing any button In the event the pause time exceeds 10 minutes the display shows the default setting and the appliance must be re-started.

OPERATION TIPS

1 After fermenting if much odor is produced it means the milk or another ingredient may be polluted the yoghurt must be discarded.

TO CARE AND CLEAN

1 Before clean or not in use the yoghurt maker always unplug it.

2 Wash thoroughly the cover glass bottles and bottle covers in warm soapy water then rinse and dry carefully.

3 Wipe the inside of yoghurt maker with a damp cloth.

4 Do not immerse the cord plug or appliance in water or other liquids.

5 Do not clean plastic parts with a scouring agent Use a solution of normal washing up liquid and warm water to avoid scratches.

6 The glass bottles can be washed by dishwasher.

Yoghurt Recipe

Natural Yoghurt:

Ingredients:

0.5l whole or half-skimmed milk

A whole tub of plain Yoghurt 1 The milk and Yoghurt should be kept at room temperature or above 20 degrees Celsius.

2 Dilute the Yoghurt with the milk.

3 Pour in the milk mixture and mix together with a spoon.

4 Connect the appliance and the two indicator lights will light up

Press the button «ON/OFF» once the indicator light will illuminate 5 After seven hours an audible alarm will be heard indicating that the Yoghurt is ready Turn off the appliance and disconnect from the mains

NOTE: The use of sterilised milk is recommended

The use of flavoured milk (e.g strawberry milk) is not recommended

Recipe variations

Green Tea Yoghurt:

Ingredients: 2g of green tea Yoghurt a small tablespoon of honey 1 Slowly add the Yoghurt to the tea then mix well 2 Add the honey and mix

Yoghurt Fruit Salad: 1 Add jam or honey to taste 2 Peel and cut various fruits into small pieces (e.g apples strawberries grapes bananas pineapples peanuts walnuts) 3 Mix the fruit with sweetened Yoghurt

You can store your Yoghurt in a hermetically sealed box or refrigerator for up to 10 days However it is recommended to consume the Yoghurt after 2 or 3 days of refrigerated storage
