SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make sure that the ventilation openings in the
appliance are clear of obstructions.
2. Do not use any sharp objects for removing the
frost. They may damage the inner surface.
3. Do not use any electrical appliances inside the
food storage compartments in the appliance.
4. Do not use the appliance if the supply cord/plug
is damaged. It must be replaced in an authorized
service center to avoid a risk of a hazard.
5. Installation, repairs, disassembling and
modifications should be performed by the
qualified specialists only. Do not try to install
the unit by yourself. It can cause water leak¬age,
refrigerant leakage, electrical shock or fire.
6. Do not splash water on the appliance. Do not
clean it with water as it can result in the short
circuit or electrical shock.
7. Do not put any flammable or volatile substances
into the unit as it can result in fire.
8. Do not damage, modify, bend excessively, strain,
twist or bundle up the power cord. Do not place
any heavy objects on it nor squeeze it in a tight
place as it can get damaged causing electrical
shock or fire.
9. Use a specially assigned wall outlet. Do not use
extension cords or convenience recep¬tacles as
they can cause electrical shock, overheating or
fire.
10. Do not use flammable spray cans and do not
leave flammable substances near the unit. The
sparks from the electrical switches can cause
explosion or fire.
11. Do not store any bottles or cans in the unit.
Their contents can freeze up and the containers
can break causing an injury.
12. The unit is intended for storing ice-cream and
frozen food. Storage of products not intended
for it can have an adverse affect.
13. The appliance is intended for indoor use only.
Do not use it outdoors.
14. Do not put any heavy objects or items
containing water on the top of the unit. They
can fall down and cause injury. Spilled water can
damage the insulation of electrical components
and result in electrical shock.
15. Install the unit on a hard, steady floor.
16. In case of gas leakage, do not touch the chest
freezer. Close the gas and open the door and/or
windows for ventilation.
17. Do not expose the unit to rain or excessive
humidity.
18. Do not install the appliance near sources of
the heat, heating appliances, cookers etc.
19. Do not install the unit in places where children
play. There is a risk that a child can be trapped
inside the compartment.
20. Please make more than 10 cm distance between
the chest freezer and the wall. If the distance is
not enough cooling capacity can drop down.
21. If the installation in a damp place is
unavoidable, install an electrical leakage circuit
breaker. Otherwise, the risk of electrical shock
will increase.
22. Do not lean on the lid nor climb onto the unit.
23. Disconnect the appliance from the mains before
moving it and make sure that the power cord is not
damaged during transportation. A damaged power
cord can cause electrical shock or fire.
24. Do not touch the plug, electrical components,
or the switch with wet hands.
25. When unplugging the appliance from the mains
hold the plug, do not pull the cord.
26. Make sure that the unit does not tip over or
fall down when it is moved.
Attention! Before using this product please read the instruction manual carefully, and always follow
basic safety precautions when operating electrical appliance
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised
or have been given instructions concerning the use of the appliance by the authorized
personnel responsible for their safety.
Small children should be supervised by the authorized personnel to prevent their playing
with the appliance.
