- Technical and sanitary protection of all wel-
ding operators-directly or indirectly involved
in welding processes is provided by the regu-
lations in force for sanitation and prevention

2.3 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
For your safety, before connecting the source
to the line, closely follow these instructions:
- an adequate two-pole switch must be in-
serted before the two-pole main outlet; this
switch must be equipped with time-delay fu-

- the mono-phase connection with ground
must be made with a two-pole plug compati-
ble with the above mentioned socket;
- two wires of the two-pole input cable are
used for the connection with the mono-phase
line and the yellow-green wire for the compul-
sory connection to the ground in the welding
location;
- connect all the metal parts which are near
the operator in the welding location by using
cables bigger or of the same cross section of
the welding cable to a ground terminal;
