STORAGE AND LACK OF USE FOR LONG PERIODS
Store the machine in a dry environment, sheltered from the elements and, if possible, covered up. If the machine
is to be out of use for more than 30 days (models with petrol engine), drain the fuel from the engine to
prevent sticky deposits from forming in the fuel intake system or in vital parts of carburettor. To avoid this
procedure, it is possible to save fuel in storage up to 12 months by using an appropriate fuel stabilizer.
Add the such additive to the fuel in the tank or in the fuel container. Run the engine for a while to let the
stabilizer get into the fuel system. Caution: if the engine is fed with petrol containing alcohol, drain the
fuel tank and run the engine until there is no fuel left. Regularly check that the battery voltage has not
dropped below 12.5 Volts and if it does so, recharge it.

IMPLEMENTS
LIFTING HOOKS AND TRANSPORT
The lifting hooks (fig. 38) location permits that the machine with the mounted cutting deck is perfectly balanced if it
must be lifted up with a crane. Check the machine’s weight on the plate and use suitable equipment (ramps, crane,
etc.). If the machine is carried with a camion or with a towed trailer, put the cutting deck in a low position, engage
the parking brake and tie it to the mean of transport through ropes, cables, or chains.
